Nora CreganFounder | Executive Director
Nora Cregan is the Executive Director of The Access Project. She supervises all of the Project’s programs, spearheading the design of programs that leverage technology and the steadfast pro bono commitment of the private bar to revolutionize delivery of legal services to underserved communities.
Prior to founding The Access Project, Nora was a litigation partner at Bingham McCutchen and for several years served as the firm’s Global Pro Bono Chair. She is a longtime member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, where she has focused on so-called “mega pro bono” programs such as Election
Protection. She has extensive experience designing and implementing projects that provide high quality free legal services while also meeting the needs of law firm pro bono programs.
Nora is a cum laude graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review, and a magna cum laude graduate of Middlebury College. She clerked for the Honorable Eugene A. Wright of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
